It is all about engagement
Welcome back,
In this week’s blog I am going to be giving you advise on how
to engage visitors on a blog.
The resources I used Yoast and web engage
Blog engagement is the way people can interact with your post,
this could be by leaving a comment or by sharing your blog. Engaged readers are
readers who are active on your blog.
Try to be consistent you should blog frequently if you want
readers to interact with your content. Inform people of what to anticipate, you
don’t need to blog daily. but you should make sure that you make posts regularly.
I like to post my blog weekly. It can be
a good idea to pick a certain day of the week to post your blogs on, this allows
viewers to know what day new content is available to them.
Be original check your content is worthwhile to share,
writing fresh content is the best approach to ensure readers will want to read and
share it. Sharing your unique story with encourage more people to do the same.
Be relatable always imagine yourself as your readers, what
issues are they facing, what questions are they asking online, this is what
your audience will recognize and what they have been searching for, make sure
to focus on meeting their demands. May seem straightforward, it’s easy to create
content about your goods and services without considering what your customers
really want to read about.
Encourage user comments blogs should focus on having
conversations, important part of blogging is responding to comments from readers
and engaging with them. More engagement, more leadership and more sharing will
result from making your guests feel heard and appreciated.
Use of images and videos throughout my blogs I try to use
images and videos as this helps viewers keep focused and engaged, text heavy
blogs can become boring. You can significantly improve readership and interaction
on your blog by using videos and photographs in your posting. Visual content is easier to remember encouraging
viewers to share your posts on social media.
